Before time began,  there was Astroland Amusement Park... 



Something new - beyond different - stunned all
 at The Coney Island Mermaid Parade in June 2008.

"As with all great power,  some wanted it for good,  others....for evil...."
The evil DEVELOPERCONS had unleashed their fury - and greed - on Coney Island,  USA.
They demolished,  conned,  padlocked,  and bulldozed...all in the name of 'development'.
A message - a call for help - was sent across the far reaches of space...
...and it was answered...

"It was an accident that intertwined their fates...."
It was now clear what had happened to Squid Boy,  anti-hero of the 2007 Mermaid Parade:
he had transformed into something better,  something more kid-friendly,
 and was now imbued with a sense of honor and purpose,  a moral compass,  a really cool head
...and he still had his pecs....



"A new world to call 'home'..."
Optimus Squid arrived with the guts of an intergalactic leader...
and now he knew his way around Brooklyn!
It took a hero from across the galaxy to make us value our home of Coney Island.
    Down with real estate tycoons...especially successful ones!
